You will also be supplied a Bob weight card and Balance sheet for your Rotating Assembly. We individually weigh each component (and correct if necessary) to achieve a bob weight for that particular Rotating Assembly, then we machine the crankshaft to match the bob weight. Don't be fooled by others claiming to be factory balanced assemblies - that just means that the individual components are weight matched sets, such as the pistons and rods. These Rotating Assemblies are Completely Balanced at Motorsports Unlimited using our state of the art, CWT Industries Multi-Bal 5500. If you are uncertain please contact us for assistance. When selecting the camshaft for your engine, please be aware that caution needs to be taken when using a computer controlled vehicle. This balancing option requires adding a 1" piece of Mallory heavy metal to the front counterweight to enable us to internal balance the front half of the crankshaft and is included in this price. The front of the crankshaft is Internally balanced for an LT1 engine to allow the use of a stock type LT1 harmonic balancer. This kit is externally balanced on the back of the crankshaft and will require an external balance 1 piece seal flexplate or flywheel. This kit includes everything you need to completely rebuild and stroke your LT1 to 383 cubic inches.
